“The work of God”?

do you mean the bit that was added later by persons unknown many many years later, you are easily convinced my friend
I mean the bit where several apostles who knew Jesus personally as a man and saw Him Risen, were executed before they’d renounce their faith.

We’ve been over this mate.

The resurrection and the hundreds that saw the Risen Christ.
I found this article on Wiki quite interesting. It names the sources, both Christian and non Christian. It does seem that there is no contemporary document but there is a plethora of references within the first century of his death. You may well have seen this but i found it useful.

and you keep ignoring the fact that its an addendum to the original story, it is inconceivable that this should of been missed first time around

there is no ascension until this extra is added

I am not talking about the ascension.

I am talking about members of the 11, being killed for their beliefs, those that saw the Risen Christ and the ascension by the way.

You can keep saying it was added later, it was only added to Mark later.

We’re going round in circles here aren’t we?

You’re not going to believe, I do, why are we continuing?

do we really have go there, you are deluded if you think its all about love and brotherhood
The Gospels are.

I’ve actually read them in full recently.

When asked the greatest commandment, He says in the Gospels “love the Lord thy God but also love thy neighbour as much as yourself”.

He then goes on to say “don’t just love those that love you, but love your enemies and pray for them”.

Sounds like hatred alright, horrendous.

Crishna was born of a chaste virgin,[113:6] called Devaki, who, on account of her purity, was selected to become the "mother of God."

I'm pretty sure this is wrong. We've all watched Shri Krishna TV series in our childhood, and learned his stories in literature classes. Krishna's father is Vasudeva. Devaki was already married to Vasudeva and they had several kids before Krishna was born.
Whoever wrote this is deliberately trying to make parallels with Jesus(as) and not being honest.

I doubt even Buddha is born of a virgin either. Haven't heard that, but I'm not sure.
