10 clubs vote against giving EFL a share of the PL money

They forget that English clubs were banned from Europe as a result of their antics. You'd think they would show a bit of humility and respect given their form.
And that's why the shysters and grifters always come out on top. Because normal folk (like us) with honesty and integrity expect others to be the same.
They are the football club embodiment of every negative personality trait the person you dislike the most has.
Basically, don't expect Liverpool fans to have the same moral standard that you have. They pretend they do, but they are cunts!

Bit surprising that some who were in the EFL a short time ago being so against it. Less surprising from the greedy cartel.

But 2 or 3 of those clubs will say they're all for fair play in other areas...

If they can all be run sustainably then yep, why not. I just don’t think that means only being able to function because of handouts from the league above.

Of course one way of helping the precious must-be-preserved-at-all-costs pyramid is if the PL added an EPL surcharge to the cost of all PL season tickets and match day tickets. I’m sure that would get plenty of support, especially on here.
You have to take in to account that one of the reasons that clubs down the lower leagues of the pyramid are struggling is due to both siphoning and distorting effects from the rise of the Premier League over the last 30 years.

They are both poorer as attention, resources, and talent migrates up the ladder to the increasingly hegemonic top tier and their cost of operations at nearly every level have also increased due to the inflation of standards and expectations (not to mention dubious business practices) from the top flight, impacting what is required to attract fans, generate revenue, and generally be seen as “competing”.

This Premier League drain is not isolated to the football pyramid at home, either. The Premier League has slowly been killing most other European leagues, as well.

The payments are partly to counteract those effects (really, if we are being honest, obfuscate the phenomenon and partially absolve the league of responsibility) but are becoming less and less adequate.

Hellsfire! City 'n United on the same ballot paper? Mind, if the Rags are camping outside HM Treasury waiting on a £600m handout they can't be tossing the EFL to the wolves!

When premier league teams stop buying from lower divisions the so called pyramid is already failing, most premier league players are bought from abroad or are acquired from other premier league clubs, if teams in the lower divisions are losing out on transfer fees from the big boys how are they going to make that income up?
