This isn’t really about who voted for or against today, but a more general point.

Don’t the PL already give bucketloads of cash to the lower leagues? I’ve thought for a few years now the model of 4 divisions of full time professional clubs isn’t necessarily sustainable. It might have been in the 30s or 50s when there weren’t as many competing alternatives for leisure time, but we’re not in Kansas anymore.

Why does there have to be 92 pro clubs?
If some of those clubs ended up as semi pro they could still exist if enough people wanted to watch couldn’t they?

There's a lot more than 92 to be fair, most of the national league is pro.
