Im not advocating people singing it in germany, it would be pretty bloody rude

but I am having trouble telling apart people who think we shouldnt be offensive, from those who think that if we just forgot about the past or pretended it never happened, everything would be a lot easier.

1) The song lasts for ages and is boring
2) It has no relevance to us or football
3) It shows fuck all support for the team, we should be getting behind our lads
4) We have plenty of other songs to sing
5) It shows a lack of respect to our German brothers

Here's a clue:

Not a single person ever to sing that song has done so because they want to instigate historical debate and to ensure that the lessons of history are remembered and acknowledged.

However, every one of them has done so in order to try to offend Germans.

As for the people who find it pathetic, I think they just have a bit more upstairs than to find themselves on the same side of the debate as the 'En-ger-land' plastic chair throwing massive

So tell 'em there's no problem about offending us since we'll find a chant to react. But tell 'em as well that the ten German bombers chant is understood in Germany as a behaviour of stupid NF or BNP idiots from those bloody firms running their national team on the one day and fighting "Pakis" and others on the next day. And your grandfathers shot down those German bombers to fight people with an even opinion. Nationalist and Fascist scum. But who cares? It's kinda good feeling you have when you see there are people whose IQ is worse than your own ;)
