I still think Foden needs to be our main left winger until we have someone better than him which Grealish really isnt.
Grealish simply wont come up with enough assists/goals from there and does not scare defences that much with his play. he might prove me wrong on this, cannot see it tho.

Far too conservative again. First 10 games of the season are going to be huge for him. If he doesn't buck himself up he'll be benched and likely to stay there.

Maybe a box to box role? Right now he just isn't doing it on the wings or as an attacking midfielder. Where the fuck would he fit in? I really don't envy Pep on this one.

So much want Jack to succeed and ram the media's taunts down their throats but he looks a square peg in a round hole at the moment , Foden shoild be starting wide left and try Jack as No.10 behind Haaland for some games , he didnt play on the wing for Villa he played more central , get the lad in his best position and then we can judge him

Agree he has to play central, our style just doesn’t suit him in that role - I’d play De Bruyne wide right for his crossing ability to maximise Haaland’s strengths. Foden has to start on the left by default, as he’s potentially got 15 goals and 15 assists in him.

need to play 4231 this season. will suit our squad better. but need a LB for that
