10 | Jack Grealish - 2023/24

He’s not going to go for it though. He’s gonna waste Foden wide left and play some div like Gallagher. Instead of going for it with Bellingham and Foden in the middle. Grealish would have been ideal to retain the ball and give us balance if Boregate had the balls to go for it.

We’ll come up short against the first decent team we play like every other tournament under this negative clown.

Spot on assessment of the useless sod @Craig.

Southgate is lacking in ability and totally spineless.

The fact he didn’t even make the squad v fulham due to lacklustre training and alleged off field antics I struggle to have much sympathy for him. Southgate will be well aware of his a struggles away from the pitch this season.

He is at a crossroads be interesting which way he goes

Disappointed for him but not surprised. Clearly his head hasn't been right for multiple reasons and a good showing at this camp is probably too little too late.

Up to him how he responds. The press will be watching him like a hawk.

He's on a downward gradient. Lost his place at City and now lost his place at England.

Hopefully no benders this summer, lose a few pounds and get super fit. He has to show Pep he means business... Otherwise may as well put in a transfer request as he will stay on the bench.

Everybody loves Jack, he's a lovely lad with a nice personality but were paying him hundreds of thousands a week, he needs to be serious about what he can do for City next season.

Disappointing for him not to be picked, but he probably doesn’t deserve it.

However from adversity comes triumph. Jack needs to use this as motivation and come back next season firing. He has the ability to be City player of the year and the Premier League player of the year as well as helping us to five in a row. That needs to be his motivation and he needs to knuckle down and have the mentality to match his obvious ability

Dropping Henderson, Phillips was unthinkable this time last year, he's done it and brought in some exciting young players.

Big calls on Grealish and Maddison , again not something he would have done in the past.

Time will tell and for sure he HAS to deliver in Germany and should be with the talent available.

It's muck or bust for Southgate but for once he seems to be going for it.
