Hardly see any meaningful ball all the time on the pitch. He and Akanji managed to put in some decent cross but no one really went to win it in the middle.

I am curious why put Alvarez in no 10 position while leaving Foden Bernado and Grealish, all great 10 in the past, on the sideline?

I do think he has to improve his G and A numbers with Gundo and Mahrez both gone as long as he is a starter for majority of PL games on the left.

He’s got to attack more. In the games like today when he passes it back every time he’s ineffective. He needs to commit defenders, run at them, win free kicks, get them on yellows, have them guessing and backing off. when he slows it down and passes back he’s very average. When he’s at it he’s world class.

If he doesn’t step it up, someone else will take is place. He’s been gash lately while Foden has looked hungry. Meritocracy is the rule here.

We haven't even played a competitive game yet. Chill out ffs aha.

Drop Haaland in that case since he hasn't scored in 6 games.
