Proof that Pep isnt perfect.

Has taken him way too long to try Grealish in the middle.

To be fair, it's not like we needed him as CM in any of the previous seasons. And in this season, Jack has been barely available. I would say it took Pep 2-3 matches where Jack was fully fit to put him as CM. And hopefully, that will continue.

Brilliant in the middle of the park. KDB was the difference-maker but Jack ran the show.

I really liked his performance tonight. There were glimpses of Villa Jack in there. He is a player I wanted for us when I first became aware of him in the 2020 LC final v Villa. Got stuck in and was tenacious for them, let's hope Pep let's him continue in the middle. That performance tonight will have done his confidence a lot of good.

G/A wont matter as much from there and he’ll likely feel that

Looked for the space and he makes holding possession look very simple, needs a run in the middle with Phil out of form, seemed to really help Doku as well.

I said many times, don't make up a wild speculation and presenting it as fact. But some people doesn't want to listen and keep doing it again and again shamelessly.

The pressure is so much less. Can’t play wide forward in this side and not score for a year. However, if he can play in the middle of the park and dictate games, the lack of G/A will soon be forgotten.

Hopefully pep will remember who helps him in the most difficult time and won't throw him under the bus as soon as things get better.
