I have watched grealish play shit over and over. He doesn’t score, he doesn’t assist, he doesn’t take players on he doesn’t affect games. He missed games because he doesn’t train well

But he is good looking and people fancy him or see themselves in him so it’s all good. He is shit.
Could say the same thing about half our midfielders at the moment. We're playing the same nonsense midfield game after game after game and it's the same terrible results. Maybe Grealish won't be a massive revelation, but try something different ffs.

Not seeing any signs of Jack getting on the pitch, must be massively under performing in training.

unused sub against Chelsea, Brugge, Arsenal 3 games a row. he is fit, could play but not even as a sub.

I assume he starts vs Leyton lol and back to being unused sub for the serious games rest of the month?

to think he is a 100m player this is unreal in some way.

Doubt it's that to be honest. When Guardiola takes a dislike to you for whatever reason, that's it. Same happened with Sane.

On the few times he's played recently he's been one of our better players. He's not the answer to a lot of our problems but a better option than some who are playing a lot more regularly.

Yeah must be that, Its not as if he's performed any worse this season than he has in his career here, been very much the same right through.

Weirdly enough he probably has better stats in the last few games than at any time here but Guardiola seems to prefer anyone but him.

I think he's still got something to offer but obviously the manager disagrees. If he's not going to play, then best move him on.

It's weird that his average performance over the course of the season has been better than Foden, Gundo, Kova and even KdB. He's not been great, but he hasn't been a liability like the rest.

He must be stinking the place out.

A seasoned professional who should be on the pitch making a massive contribution during the worst spell for years. But no, he’s on the bench with a face on.

Anyone blaming Pep for Grealish’s lack of involvement is just kidding themselves.

At least he’s a great lad.

It’s more that Pep keeps putting out the same midfield that’s outplayed and outran every single game and doesn’t make any changes with players like Grealish and O’Reilly in the squad

We should be relying on all of our players in this period yet he's not been seen since he came on against PSG where he scored and helped create a second, either he fell out with Pep, has some sort of injury or Pep's squad management is even more baffling than I thought.

I'd hate to see how the lads that are starting in midfield train then!

Something has gone on in the club Jack not getting a look in Foden looks fooked & just no team spirit or fight in most of them plus walker leaves in January (the club captain)

It’s crazy Jack not playing

Has clearly pissed Guardiola off either with his lifestyle or in training. Hes been played out of position since day dot which fucking baffles me considering we paid 100m notes for him.

His most recent game playing centrally we beat Forest 3 nil… he can play that role and should play that role.

I bet he’s frustrated as fuck but as long as City are paying him 180k a week or whatever he’s on and he’s picking up medals then I can’t see him jostling for a transfer.

As much as he may not have impressed on the pitch, and I don’t think he’s been all bad, he has had the shit end of the stick by being played out wide.

Exactly. Not even using him as the player us or Villa valued for 100M. He's an option that should be considered given how poor our midfield is. And god forbid he look upset because he has to sit on the bench watching the nonsense week after week.

Yeah. His ball retention is generally excellent, albeit the passes he plays from out wide are normally pretty safe, but you can see when he is able to venture inside that he can play a pass. He has a great engine and draws fouls.
