Curious how you find Gundo and Kova aren't the issue in the midfield when half our games have basketball tempo and we have 60-70% possession with fuck all to show for it except for getting utterly dominated and blowing 2 goal leads.Would you not agree that Pep continually playing Gundo and Kovacic whilst grealish has sat on the bench despite in your opinion them being the primary problem (which i completely disagree with) would indicate that Pep himself thinks he's a worse option than them in there?

He's not in great form, he's struggling with his fitness, and maybe something's going on off the pitch.
Like all our players he has plenty of things he can work to improve.
But people would be quick enough to shit on him if he hadn't been creating chances and getting assists in the FA Cup. So I think it's worth acknowledging that in this competition in which he's actually had game-time, he has been getting those numbers, equal to or better than anyone else in our or any other squad.

Out of interest, who gave him motm? If we're talking neutral match reports, i'd wager nearly all are giving it to their keeper or their goal scorer, but if it has to be a blue, it's surely going to savinho or Lewis.MOTM and still gets it in the neck. Some of you need to let the hatred of him go.

Not going to derail the thread getting into that too much here but i'll offer a quick explanation. The problem is very clearly the press, or lack of, we send a front 4, sometimes 5 to "press" high up which is played around like they aren't there then we're instantly at a numerical disadvantage as those front players don't bother to retreat and the whole thing falls apart from there.
