When has he been shitfaced in night clubs? I mean I'm sure he has in his life, like most lads, but if it was a common occurrence, it'd be plastered all over the news and social media these days. Seems a lot of bollocks to me. If he had a drinking problem and was wrecked in clubs all the time, there'd be far more talk about it rather than some posts on a forum.

Several benders? You were there yeah? - all we know is he had a good scoop during celebrations, which is about once a year. Funny how nobody said anything about the likes of Rodri looking even more shitfaced than Grealish coming out of the league winning party at the end of last season.

If he had a drinking problem and the club knew, he would be getting treatment and he wouldn't be playing or on the bench. We know the level of care players get these days.

Nothing at all indicates he has a serious drinking problem.
You’d be surprised how well it gets hidden now in places the big stars go. They aren’t getting photographed by anyone

Do you live in a cave without a TV and radio? There's been plenty of occasions he's been snapped and filmed of his drunken antics. Not recently though.

He doesn't look match fit to me, perhaps he still has a drink problem? Or maybe he's in bed for 9 after a nice cup of cocoa stressed out from changing nappies at all ungodly hours?

Well you don’t know do you, but you’ve decided which it is. We have a very intrusive press you may have noticed. Yet they don’t know anything about this drinking problem that you go on about.

Was one of the better ones today I thought. Great ball for the winner.

I think the signing was a commercial move in an attempt to get people to like us because he was a proper poster boy everybody loved. Overnight every other fan hated him. He’s probably been a success commercially bringing young fans in and shirt sales etc.

We didn’t pay £100m based on ability. He’d played a fair chunk of his career in the championship, for a struggling PL side. He didn’t get many goals or assists there either. It’s not the type of player you break the bank for. Record signings are supposed to be game changers, difference makers. I think we expect more than hes capable of.

Even the treble season I honestly don’t remember these immense performances people tell me he had. He’s got lots of fans because he’s a great bloke but we have to demand more as fans. He wouldn’t have got near our midfield of any team in the last ten years and wouldn’t get in any of our rivals midfields. Our level is elite now and unfortunately he isn’t, he’s 30 at the start of next season and not gonna find a yard of pace or a trick from anywhere.

Clearly not a bad player but not good enough for us in my opinion.

Looks very heavy. Not the only one who does at the moment. He's playing alright when he gets his chance, but clearly way down the pecking order and probably on his way out

Would've played a lot more the last couple seasons if he even attempted the audacious pass that led to the winning goal more often.

My memory is a bit hazy after consuming a bit too much but seem to remember him successfully playing a similar ball to Marmoush on one or 2 other occasions too.

That happened too long ago for some here so can’t be using that even though things like that have been known to cause stress for a long time after.
I remember my mum replying to me about stress a few years back.

"Stress? Most people don't know what stress is. When you're being bombed in the war hoping your family and friends return, that's what stress is!"

She was a wise old sage. Bless her.

Which was 80 years ago now. It's time to realise that it's not a common experience of anyone in this country anymore. Unless they're refugees of course, but we demonise them don't we.

He certainly doesn’t look happy at all. Didnt look interested first half, but thought he was fine second half. Not sure what’s going on there.
