If we had any coach other than Pep, Jack would be a regular starter and no chance of getting rid.

He's pissed Pep off somewhere along the line, and as usual, Mr Arrogant won't stand for it.
Yep dump Pep for Jack, that's how important Jack is to the team, not just the team but dare I say, to the football world as a whole.

Ha, that’s true but in reality both should have shot. Not that you really expect goals from Jack by this stage. He actually did very well in general whilst on the pitch on Sunday. Can’t think of all the times he’s been on the pitch recently but don’t recall him playing badly. The home game against Madrid he’d started superbly before his injury.

Whatever reason he’s not playing much is certainly not down to performances otherwise he wouldn’t have lasted so long here. It’s a shame we’ll never get to see him given a run as a left sided 8 with a natural wide man outside him.
Jack has more great performances for his team than Messi could ever imagine

I mean just look at the discussion, he steps foot on field it’s an automatic best performance ever.
People have lost objectivity while judging and now some are calling for Pep to be gone so that Jack can play, this is the discourse here.

He comes on field and people have HE GAVE US CONTROL posts ready as drafts

If he were to be put on market I wonder what type of auction will take place among teams to sign player who give 10/10 every match he plays

I've heard Real Madrid and Bayern are ready to 'break the bank' for Love Island Lanzini.

Put in a good performance and got a goal. All on what must be an incredibly difficult day for him and his family.

25 years is such a milestone, and of course it will be the first anniversary since Jack became a father too which must add another layer to the grief.

Hopefully the club is there for him. Sometimes you've just got to feel the feelings.

Certainly showed today that he's capable centrally and should be an option there for us when fit.

That ‘10’ position is so interesting because we have several players who can play it but all in radically different ways

Hard to imagine four more different interpretations of that role than De Bruyne, Foden, Marmoush and Grealish. Completely different skill sets, instincts, strengths and weaknesses

Which at least gives us a lot of options

I'd be fine with seeing out the season with Jack and Gundo/Bernardo/Kova starting as a double pivot in front of Gonzalez. We get some energy in the middle, Foden gets a break to ease some of his burnout and de Bruyne comes on as a super sub for Doku to play with Grealish and O'Reilly/Gvardiol down the left.
