Poor game today but overall a very good squad player. Very rarely let’s us down. His game time has been limited this season and with the Ukraine situation he is bound to be affected in some way. So unlucky to lose Dias, stone and Walker. Crazy if you think about it. Decent player and a decent lad. No need to hound him out.
he has had many more good games than bad and normally gives us good distribution and control. Yeah he was poor at times today but he was in a massively disrupted back line and none of the back 5 came out of that game looking good. He deserves a break not the constant slagging he is getting on here. Well done mate for pointing that out.

Disagree. He isn’t a left back. He isn’t good enough in AM for our team as we have many many better options there. We need a specialist and one of the younger lads in. It’s a waste of a squad space.

He's one of three fullbacks, he's been part of three, almost four, title winning squads, he doesn't mind rotation, he's popular with his teammates, he's possibly the lowest earner in the first team squad.

It's the perfect use of a squad space and I don't think selling him makes sense on any level.

We just need another left back.

Got done by one of the most in form players in the entire league, Bowen has skinned practically every left back in the league this season. If we had a fully fit side, he doesn't start today, the pace of cancelo or ake would have been preferred but they wasn't an option so zinchenko had to play, wasn't great today but you can count on a hand the amount of games zinchenko has been anything less than solid. Zinchenko is a very important part of our squad and will remain so. Suggesting he's shit and needs selling after a poor game is pathetic.

He’s been part of title winning squads because we’ve failed to adequately cover for left back since Pep arrived.

We’ve also managed one PL title and hopefully another without a proper striker but that didn’t stop us buying two good ones to remedy that issue. Same needs to happy with LB.

One of his worst games for us yesterday, but he's played well in recent games too, the whole defence was horrific for me, he was no worse than anyone else.

We do need a good left back, but we have for years, when the best one at the club plays on the right normally (and isn't the greatest defender himself), it's clear it needs addressing.

Just watched MOTD2 and I’d forgotten that as well as both goals, he was at fault for what were nearly three other goals (Dawson, Coufal header to Bowen and an awful clearance). We 100% need Ake fit for next week.

So many prefacing their comments with how "lovely", "great lad", "nice" he is before stabbing him in the back. Most of our players are "good lads" so why the hypocrisy with him. It is so easy to trash him while "supporting him". He did a lot of good work today in attack making at least an effort to be creative unlike his CB partners who never gave the sort of attacking impetus that the sadly absent Stones and Dias would have, Our CB's today looked like their main objective was to avoid further injury, hopefully they did. First goal Ferna's header loses possession and they hook the ball over the top & Laporte' s foot plays Bowen on. 2 goal Antonio mesmerises 4 city defenders before flipping the ball to Bowen running between Zin & 2 other City defenders. He also made the cross that lead to Jack's goal. But he is one of the scapegoats again, because we love him , but he's shite. Pep knows best.

If he’s a lovely lad but a bit wank, it’s not hypocrisy to say that. It would only be hypocritical or back stabbing to say he’s a lovely lad but he’s a ****. Him being a lovely lad does not mean he is at the required talent level for City moving forward. There are street loads of lovely lads in the U.K. but it doesn’t mean I want GDM playing left back next season.

As for “Pep knows best”, if you genuinely think Pep wants him as our main or second choice left back next season then you want your bumps feeling. We’ll be buying a left back in the summer for sure.
