13.5.12. 93:20

Truly a fantastic day, after we scored we all started hugging each other in sheer emotion. Headed into town and we all drank ourselves silly, ended up in some nightclub some City fans had pre booked, don't even remember the name of it, think it was Ancoats area.
Missed work Monday so back in town early for more beer and the parade, missed work Tuesday. Finally made work Wednesday still on a high. Loved it!

Went through the emotional wringer that day exactly as everyone above describes it..

Just to add, we were all sitting in our (still held) seats in tier two of the Family Stand, directly behind the right-hand goalpost. When Mario slipped the ball to Sergio, I placed my hands on my young nephew's shoulders in front of me, saying 'Here it is!'..

And then everything went mental! My next recollection was being in the aisle next to me with my brothers, sister, nephews and friends who sit behind me all on top of one another.. we were literally rolling in the aisle!

We've been so fortunate to share in the wonderful times, moments and style of football City has brought us since 2008 and no doubt there are many more to come.

But that 93.20 moment will never, ever be topped..

This brought me to tears because ill never see him play again

I know exactly what you mean but the other way to look at it is this... most football fans never get to cheer on a player of that calibre and literally no other football fans have ever been witness to a moment quite like that. We are so so lucky and privileged, we should always remember that and simply smile at the thought of him.

The best moment I've had at a game I was actually at. Pure mayhem all around me after THAT goal. I ended up arse over tit, falling backwards over my seat. Wasn't it sometime around 17:51 on the day?

“Theyve Scored”
I used to work with a Rag who made the mistake of telling me that the guy with the radio who said that, was his brother. Cue many a happy dinner times in the canteen playing the goal on YouTube, and me turning to him, asking, 'is that your brother?' Lost count of the times I got told to 'fuck off'. Happy days.
