A video I enjoyed at the time was one that I've struggled to find since. It was a live news report from outside the stadium and the goal goes in as a woman is reporting. The roar is like an aeroplane taking off.
I don't suppose it still exists does it?

It does. I watched it not long ago. Not in my favourites though unfortunately.

It was on CNN. There was a thread on it at the time. I’m new to posting links, but here’s a try.

The exact moment they found out. Have that you bastards.
When I watched MotD that evening - and for a number of evenings after - I just had to pause and do a slo mo to see it dawn on them (especially the women in the red jumper)
I then, and I realise I'm a grown man, burst into tears just as I did that day

I wonder if that woman in the red jumper knows that she is “famous” amongst the blue community. Does anyone know who she is?

Some woman in the lower rows of 117 screamed "Come on, fucking remember Gillingham".

Didn't know if I should find her and hug her or give her a virtual slap.

Edin knocked one in which at the time almost made it worse, there was no time left......or was there?

I didn't go on the pitch I was too emotionally wreaked to move from where I was, my lad had moved his SC to 111 at the start of the season, to see him walking upto me in 117 was a moment I'll never forget.

There's still a small part of me that resents City for what they put us through that day. The 35 mins between Cisse and Aguero are comfortably the worst minutes of my life. I don't remember most of the second half and spent most of it slumped in my seat with my hood up, planning a route home that would give the best chance of not seeing any Rags. Even when Dzeko scored all I could think was fuck off City (exactly how I thought when Horlock scored against Gillingham)

And then it happened. For me it was almost an out of body experience, and I can't think of a scenario that could take you from so low to so high in a split second - it literally nearly killed my uncle who said he felt like he'd had a heart attack and had to be sent straight home after the game.

Then bouncing into town, hugging and dancing with complete strangers, watching MOTD on repeat until the early hours. And doing nothing but watching you tube clips of the goal, and the Rag reactions from every corner of the world for the rest of the week.

We see things they'll never see.
