Can understand his frustration. Personally think the Spanish team might appreciate his skillset more.
 
I don't think he's a happy bunny,he knows he isn't in our starting 11 when it matters,and,given he probably had ideas of being our main man when he signed,that has miffed him somewhat.

That's kind of the nature of being a centre-back, though. When you have a disaster like he did against Spurs and Lyon, it can take a long, long time to regain the faith of the manager as first-choice, especially as he's been injured. Think he has to accept it and be patient like Stones did.

Hopefully,depends on his ambition though,and surely the fact International recognition this summer will surely bring him to prominence and unwanted attention from our POV.
