I’ve not been convinced with him this season, as he has made quite a few mistakes, but I thought he played really well yesterday.

Worth taking into account about all of our centre-backs that most defenders play much better in a consistent partnership than in rotation. Varane-Ramos, Ferdinand-Vidic, Stones-Dias last season, it's a big ask that these four have a different partner every week and still play to a high level.
