Gutted. It's part of the game though, innit. I'm sure Pep and the coaching staff have thought through ideas of what to do in the event. Kova to go in, the question is what do we do when we have to rotate him or should he have a spell out.
Others need to step up, I sometimes wonder if Jack has the makings of a 6 in this later stage in his career? Maybe wishful thinking but you never know - he has all the skills needed except perhaps heading. Rodri is a one off as the complete CDM so virtually impossible to find a ready made replacement.
His game never depended on pace. That`s way i don`t expect a significant dip in performance when he comes back but playing a "lone 6" could be difficult.

Just going off comments in the media, it sounds like Rodri did some initial tests with City on Sunday, went off to Cugat for some more scans and tests last night, and has now gone to his own doctors in Madrid to get a second, third opinion etc. He just wants a clear picture and he can obviously afford the private medical fees. ACL ruptures don't mean what they used to but Rodri will still be 29 by the time he comes back from this and he's going to want to plan his treatment as meticulously as possible as he moves into the last third of his career.Still no official comment from the club. I wonder if they're waiting for any swelling to go down before they can do the scan, which would then confirm/deny what we all seem resigned to now.
