Does anyone know what’s up with him?

I thought it was a tactical decision before the game, pretending he’s ill and then throwing him on for the last 30 minutes against tired legs with Madrid not expecting him to come on.
But the fact he wasn’t used for the full game probably does indicate he’s ill.
Hope he recovers soon, we miss his creative spark
Saw someone on twitter say it was food poisoning, don’t know if it’s true though

Saudi Arabia are reportedly ready to finance a figure north of £100 million for Manchester City and Belgium superstar midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

The 32-year-old playmaker is rapidly approaching the twilight phase of his career, and while Manchester City’s on-field demands show no signs of slowing, the expectations placed on De Bruyne could be too much for the Belgian to handle.

At this stage of the legendary midfielder’s career, Manchester City officials will be monitoring his ability to perform at the very highest level despite his age. Regardless, club bosses will also be putting together contingency plans for the eventual departure of the player.

One post despite all our sucess and you go for a negative, sniff

Can't imagine him going there anyway. He's far too intelligent to go chasing money he'll never need and as a family man I'm sure he'll be well aware of the negativity that goes with living in a country like that.
It sounds like Tikki wants to cash him more than Kev himself...

Gutted he missed that chance to win it. Could have done without the extra 30mins and then losing! Such a big player in this competition and gutted we couldn't get to the final again and give him a chance to play the whole game for once! Looked really tired even before 90 was up.

even on one leg he is the only guy upfront with the balls to take risks regularly, bernardo and grealish are great game managers but they lack his killer instinct.

that chance.:(

he deserved that chance and would have been a bit of payback if he scores that in return he had to leave the pitch from two CL finals with injuries.

ad he kind of always scores those chances. Real defence was beaten there, he just had to get it on target maybe direct it bit wider not centrally but just shot it with power above the goal.
