He needs to pack in the international lark to preserve rest of his career, like that little French bastard did the other day, the hope of Belgium winning anything anytime soon are gone, they did get to number 1 in rankings I think, but let's be honest they not winning anything, even England did better in the Euro's, tells you all you need to know that really.

I reckon he's seeing if there's one last chance of winning something with Belgium and then he'll quit. They play Italy and France in the next break and it could be their chances are pretty much over by the end of that, but if not then, it will be November he quits (unless they qualify for the finals).

Asking not to be considered until the world cup is the best course of action. They should qualify easily without him anyway and then they'll potentially get a better kdb for his last tournament and if they are struggling to qualify for it without kev, then kev doesn't need to be part of such a mediocre team at this stage of his career.

Well done Kev, he's obviously been told by the club that he needs to make a decision about internationals. Can't keep paying 325k a week to let somebody else flog it to death.

Probably the best halfway measure KDB can take. Asking not to be considered for the next two international squads is essentially Kev retiring from Belgium, but being willing to play in the World Cup finals if Belgium qualify & they still need & want him.

This allows both player & country to part on equal terms. Belgium can move on to life after Kev, & Kev can keep alive a final chance to represent Belgium in a major tournament.

This move sounds like retirement in all but name. It's for the best, & will probably earn KDB another City contract & extend his top level playing career by a couple of years before retiring from football.

Seems like another return date tba injury that goes on for months. As good as he is injuries are doing him in now I think. Quality is still there but we get t 25 games a year
