Clever player and a step up on Torres but they need to sort out his running posture. Apart from injury risk he might get faster if not hunched over so much.
He's been playing like that since he was a young lad, he could get injured just like anybody else, but he knows his body, he knows how to run, if you look at his performances at River Plate you'll notice the intensity with which he plays every game, he never stops running and when you think he can't run anymore he always surprises you with another great run.Clever player and a step up on Torres but they need to sort out his running posture. Insulting to Alvarez ;)Did Paul Dickov go on a lads holiday to Argentina around April 99?
6 months mid season golfing holiday on the horizon?Insulting to Alvarez ;)
This kid is leagues above that , class act, and he has that wonderful Argentinian attitude.
If he's half as good as Carlos we will have a star.6 months mid season golfing holiday on the horizon?
;)
Tell you what, he reminds me much more of Carlos than Sergio stylistically, but he seems to have more of Sergios easy-going attitudeIf he's half as good as Carlos we will have a star.
I'll call bullshit...Agree with this. He’s not shown very much at all. He’s got a lot of improving to do to get anywhere near Jesus’ level.
Some people talk absolute breeze.Looks a bit out of his depth currently. I do wonder if he'll be out on loan next season.
Yeah me too haha. Besides, why would the club want to sell GJ if he was such a great player with such great level? And GJ didn't even have Haaland as a competitor back then. Don't get me wrong, GJ is a very good player, but let's not get carried away so easily.I'll call bullshit...
He's been making those runs in every game he's played but doesn't get the ball.Ran his arse off, constantly made excellent runs first half that were ignored every single time. Takes a great attitude to not get disheartened by that and carry on. Pressed constantly, forced so many turnovers, lovely bit of play for Lewis' goal, excellent tenacity for mahrez's goal and a very calm and well taken finish from a kdb silver service. Deserved that.
Once this lad settles in properly and really feels like he belongs we will have a gem. Want to see him given more chances out wide when Haaland is fit, I think he can do what jesus did for us out there, his energy, movement and pressing could be a refreshing alternative to our static wingers.
