I'll call bullshit...
Yeah me too haha. Besides, why would the club want to sell GJ if he was such a great player with such great level? And GJ didn't even have Haaland as a competitor back then. Don't get me wrong, GJ is a very good player, but let's not get carried away so easily.

Very good last night. Centre forward for Pep is a hard gig. Little support and few early balls, ( Kev aside).
I hope he plays alongside Haaland in some home matches, especially poorer deeper teams( most are).

Ran his arse off, constantly made excellent runs first half that were ignored every single time. Takes a great attitude to not get disheartened by that and carry on. Pressed constantly, forced so many turnovers, lovely bit of play for Lewis' goal, excellent tenacity for mahrez's goal and a very calm and well taken finish from a kdb silver service. Deserved that.

Once this lad settles in properly and really feels like he belongs we will have a gem. Want to see him given more chances out wide when Haaland is fit, I think he can do what jesus did for us out there, his energy, movement and pressing could be a refreshing alternative to our static wingers.
He's been making those runs in every game he's played but doesn't get the ball.
The same thing happens, to a lesser extent now, with Haaland.

I know the new players have to adapt, but i also think the older players have to adapt too and realise that we have natural finishers in the team now, so put the ball through to them and see what happens.

But anyway, well played Julian you have an exciting future.
