Julian is a terrific guy educated in the Worlds best futbol school. He understands the situation and will have a lot of patience. However he wont wait forever and in Ameríca Real Madrid is irresibile

Fast becoming one of my favourite players. Intelligence, vision, drive, fight, eye for goal. Very excited to see how he continues to develop. Could very well end up as our biggest transfer market steal since the takeover (after Haaland).

Long way to go and a different sort of player though. They're both Argentinian but thats where the similarities end. Kun was an out and out striker (and a brilliant one at that). Alvarez reminds me of Thomas Muller a bit. He can play up top, on the wing, as a second striker, attacking midfielder, etc.
The 2ft smaller version ?

This guy's finishing is world class for me, I love the way he hits the ball high into the net, a unusual and very difficult skill, but he makes in look easy.

Txiki I hope is given a huge pay increase because 17m for Alvarez will prove to be one of the finest deals in footballing history.

He's also got a great eye for a pass, his alround play yesterday was fantastic with his second goal the cherry on the cake.

There's nothing wrong with admitting that a very good young player scored an incredibly fortunate goal. I haven't seen a replay since the matchday but from memory the ball landed perfectly for him at least three times.

All I'll say is if Rashford scored that goal for United in a derby we'd all be calling it a huge stroke of luck.
