I quite understand what you are saying but to me Kyle Walker is a football player who plays for Manchester City. Nothing more, nothing less. What he gets up to in his private life is a different matter and as I am not a friend or even an acquaintance of his I can't comment really.
If I have offended you I apologise. However I don't think I've ever said he is articulate. As for making a good pundit, the likes of Stan Collymore were employed and he had a worse reputation.
I don't approve but I am not a judge or a jury. Just a football fan.

No one who disagrees with a prevailing opinion (and actually you will find alot who agree with me but would say as can’t be doing with responses like we have had)

It’s the 2020s, not the 1950s.

I have no idea what your definition of "articulate" is, but Kyle is a much better speaker than most of the mumbling morons we have to put up with on Sty and talkshite. Also, there’s no evidence that he wants to carve out a career as a pundit, once his playing days are over.

Yep, and on top of that he's a fighter and a winner. A no nonsense type. We know he's not the finest baller but we also know his damn big cohones (sadly off the pitch too) and personality is what you need to be top and still stay there after years.
 
This "I'm going to try and score more goals" line he has come out with worries me slightly. He is a defensive right back he doesn't need to score goals.

concentrate on defending and not being caught sleeping at the back post if you want an individual target, don't start smacking 30 yarders once a half

keep it simple and just do your fucking job, we always get a worse version of walker when he tries doing anything more.

Better than a part time job at BBC radio right? Not much money is there and he keeps talking rubbish. Otherwise he will end up at Talksport in 10 years time.

But replace him with who?

Lewis is not a RB, Akanji good but then your a CB short.

Very late in the window now, the only viable player I could see is Kimmich and that also seems out of the question now.

Some reports suggested Frimpong and hinted a release clause. Kimmich is good for me as well but he will be expensive. The issue is that if Walker stays will he focus enough on the pitch with so many on going issues? It is reported his wife does not allow him back home and he is living in temporary housing provided by City. And his mistress makes headlines every week. Even though we fans can laugh and forget his issues. The negative publicity certainly damages City image in public eyes.

Frimpong as an attacking right wide player is good, but he makes Alexandra-Arnold look like prome Maldini at defending.
