yay I'll bet I wasn't the only one waiting for this!

At the risk of being clarkied always thought this was a made up kit.
Just been looking at an old programme and there is an advert for Barclay's .sending city into Africa and there is a big picture of at least 20 African lads wearing this kit.
Maybe we were actually closer to having this "real!" Kit than we thought
Hate to say it but when you see it with the blue and white shorts it looks quite a smart kit.
The photo is in this years home programme v Sunderland if someone wants to post it up

The problem was we never registered the old badge so it was public domain meaning anybody could put it on a sky blue shirt and we could do nothing about it , because we never owned it to begin with

your right but the club are now putting the new badge on any old shit especially since Nike are on board.

Yeah your right,found a few threads explaining the reasons(but for some reason it wont let me paste it on here)
Franny lee explained anyone could put the city badge on anything & city would,nt receive any payment what so ever

Very nice although I would prefer more white myself i.e white writing and white background to the shield or white background and blue writing

I would be very happy with it love the way he incorporated the Maltese Cross also

Love this the only thing I would probably change would be lose the red rose.

I know it's Lancashire but we are more Mancunian than Lancastrian

I agree with you rorz. Though it has to be said the original design is great too.
