2016/17 Home Kit Blue Shorts are back

I used to be dead set against blue shorts, "like Coventry" I used to rant..... Then came 93:20 and blue shorts are etched into the memories of our greatest moment..... Still prefer white, but from a marketing/establish a global identity, you can see the point

What do you mean with this? Colour wise Blue/white/blue is just as good as Blue/blue/blue and obviously most fans think it should be blue and white so why the need to piss on fans chips?

Supposed colours for the away kit, bit like the 11/12 one then. This source usually gets it spot on with their early leaks. Black shorts.

Nike's new designs would dictate that the socks are yellow, similarly to next season's Inter kit.

Think that will only apply to the home kit (hence the white socks with blue shorts combo), well hopefully at least, we're already going to look stupid in one kit, at least make the away one nice in traditional away colours for the first time under Nike.

Arguably the most famous moment in our history, certainly recent history, came with us wearing blue shorts. If the club want to make the most of that moment, moving to blue shorts as the standard makes sense. Despite the fact white shorts actually look better.

Tbh I don't think other than City fans give a shit whether we play in white shorts or sky blue shorts, nor will new City fans care about that either. If/when current fanbase prefers white, I just do not see the upside in changing to sky bleu shorts.

It was the worst kit Umbro made for us during that period to be fair.
