Bigga is right of course, Biden is a corporate Democrat and all that entails, from a left wing perspective he has nothing to offer. Where Bigga gets brickbats is his refusal to acknowledge that Biden is, at the very least, not Trump, and that very least is actually a lot.

The reality of this election is that even if Biden wins, Trump won't be far behind him in the popular vote, which tells me that a very large slice of the American public are not particularly hungry for progressive politics, and why do I say that? Because millions of them are turning their noses up at the weak sauce tinkering Biden is offering

it's not something that makes Bigga happy, in truth it doesn't lighten my day either, but where it gets irritating is that most posters in here acknowledge this, while he keeps howling at the moon for a politics, which no matter how appealing, has too few buyers.

The popular vote is subjective. You look at it thinking it means nobody wants M4A, a popular cross politic view for voters. Any poll would tell you differently. For me, logic dictates if they are not far apart on the popular vote, then it means neither of them are particularly inspiring.

For over a month the Democrats have been pushing people to vote by mail while the republicans have been telling people not to do it. As more mail in ballots are counted it should start to favor Biden more and more.

It might make the next two years interesting before the next senate elections. If Biden wins, the Democrats should be able to put out proposals that would be good and show that the Republican senators are blocking them. It all depends which senators are up in 2 years.

AP are reporting 94% of the votes have been counted for Georgia and Trump has a lead of over a million votes there - been working this morning so not been able to keep up as I would have liked, is there a reason that you’re optimistic?

That’s disgraceful, they should surely set up an independent body to make sure all states are equal. USA holds itself up as the bastion of democracy and yet it seems like Putins Russia to me
