2022/2023 Accounts - Record Revenues & Profit - Annual Report

It could increase a lot when we start selling joint music/football/hotel packages and open up lots of eating/drinking/corporate areas in the new arena on match days. These are amazing times for City. We are Amazon and United are Woolworths.
City’s board won’t miss a trick when negotiating these kind of deals.

I wonder if the hotel/music stuff will be the next thing to be banned from being applied for FFP purposes.

I am told City have a 25% direct stake in the arena.
50% but I thought the JV with Oakview Group was CFG not MCFC.

Just one of numerous bitter and clueless comments in the Daily United article about City's 2022/23 revenues.

Beautiful! You can feel his pain across the pond.

Strange that DM had multiple articles claiming Haaland was on 865,000 per week. Here it says less than half of that. Either DM is populated by fools or City are cooking the books. As for their 341m commercial revenue, they can't even state that in public with a straight face. They barely fill their own stadium with their soulless sportswashing cogs running around, let alone getting neutrals to pay attention.

Spot-on. That is the way all firms operate. They milk all their contacts for as much revenue as they can get. It is how to run a good business and there is nothing illegal about it. The UK has just signed a new trade deal with Florida. The aim is to build contacts there who will invest in this country and buy goods from British companies. The whole point Silverlake came on board with City is they are experts in leisure, entertainment, and developing music arenas.
Not to split hairs, but wasn’t a trade deal, it was a ‘memorandum of understanding’ which is really not even worth the paper it’s written on.
It is a tragic attempt by this govt, and particularly the ludicrous badenoch to demonstrate how we are free to sign ’trade deals’ now we have brexit.
They even used the total GDP of Florida to try and inflate the size of the so-called deal’s potential.

It is the CFG and Oakview with a minority investment from Harry Styles. I'm not sure how that impacts MCFC directly.
