I know Infantino is a bent **** but he has finally called out the west on hypocrisy.

We as city fans have had to face this level of rank hysterical hypocrisy every time we open a paper or turn on a phone/tablet.

Now I’m not justifying anything that goes on in the Arab world regarding human rights or anywhere else in the world for that matter. I can take a breath and not get caught up in the western rhetoric. No country is clean.

Anyway, probably get shit for it but I am glad he called out the bullshit. The rest of his interview was mental.

On the football, big blow for France. I wonder if we will finally see an underdog win. Denmark, England etc. looking forward to watching the matches. World Cup is special regardless of the location.

It just feels really weird it's starting tomorrow as I've still got my city head on.
My head can't compute the jump from us to England. Usually the league is done, bit of a break and then the build up to it starting. This one it's straight out the pan into the fire, then it's going to be reversed when the world cup stops and the league fires up again.

Very odd.
 
France have been truly fucked over by injuries. Benzema, Nkunku, Kante, pogba, maignan and kimpembe all out, varane doubtful too. That's some talent they're without yet they're still one of the favourites.

Shame Kevin Sinfield isn't a footballer, politician or Fifa rep, I've followed his progress closer than any of this pantomime to date. Just put the fixtures in my diary, usually do this 6 months in advance.
Events like this are meant to lift the world not make you question it.

What he should be saying is what a bunch of greedy useless bellends FIFA are.

We have a WC in November, in a medieval country with no stadiums what could possibly be wrong with that ?
