Another absolute joke of a performance. When does this guy ever look like affecting a game anymore.
Get him of and let Palmer play in that position
Football is not a game of 45 minutes.

His first touch is just crazy. It’s insane how important of a part of his game it is. A step in the right direction but need the consistency now

Also that early cross with his right foot was very nice. That deserved a goal. Would like to see more of those

Not great yet but much better than before!
Didn't give the ball away once, put in a defensive shift and seems to combine well with Palmer.

If he plays like he did tonight (and lays off the penalties), I don't think anyone will complain too much about him. He's been our most clinical winger for a few years now

Big chance for him to get into shape over winter

Good point regarding the winter break.

No reason why he shouldn’t be in top condition and absolutely flying when the season resumes. Will he take that opportunity though?

Excellent tonight, much more like the mahrez we know. Scores the opener and his own bit of superb skill creates the second, that's an impact! Especially for a guy that supposedly only scores 5th goals in a rout. exactly what you want your wide man to do tonight. And an added mention for his defensive work made sure he was helping Rico out.

57 minutes ago. you musta missed it.
Love you Bill, this is one of the only subjects we have severe disagreements about but I’ve had a very successful night tonight (not City related) so take care and I’m sure we will be at each other the next game Jack doesn’t do the business: :-)

I personally think he and Cole should have switched positions and it would have benefitted both of them.

Mahrez might benefit from playing centrally more off the striker, he had good spells as a 10 at Leicester, and I think his current style is more suited to that.
