Said pre-match our wingers need to deliver tonight, neither did anything though and so we created fuck all. Just his 4th game, he'll get better, he's learning and there is at least intent in his game to do what we need just not there yet. No big concerns lomg term, he's going to be a major asset for us but regardless of how new he is, he needs to be better than that if you're starting on the wing for us.

Also why does he keep trying to gee the crowd up? he did in the community shield when on the pitch for 2 mins, done it a few times since when hes played. Hate that cr*p, there is a time and place for it from one of our big boys but not every week from a new young player with questionable work rate.

He might be quicker but thats only one of the skills involved here. Forget quickness id rather for example a better decision maker over someone quicker and from Bobb has shown he has that in abundance over Savio so far(both are young it could change)

They’re about the same level, although Savinho has more experience.

That’s not a slight on either as they are both top talents.

Neither have played enough for us to have made a lasting contribution as of yet.

How can you already judge this about Bobb?

Apart from a few 90 minutes against some of the poorer opposition we played last season and the odd cameo appearance (granted the goal at Newcastle was fantastic!), we’ve not seen much of Bobb in the first team.

Savio was superb in La Liga last season. One of the top players in that whole league.

Indeed. His goal tally is greater than his assist tally and is probably a good reason why we were reluctant to go back into the market after Alvarez left.
