In terms of skill Savinho doesn't come close to Doku, but he works infinitely harder, is a lot more active, doesn't overthink when on the ball, and all these things together make him a better winger despite being aesthetically not nearly as pleasing.

HT Chile 1-1 Brazil. Eddie gave up a perrrrfect back post lob header 1m into the match - no chance. Savio got locked up pretty good by the physical LB for Chile ... until the last minute of the half when he broke free down the wing and clipped a right foot assist to the head of some dude named Igor Jesus ... sry, never heard of him. So learning pains for Savio, but give Brazil credit they kept coming back to him out on the right and it eventually paid off with a goal.

The only problem with Savinho is he’s 20 and all the inconsistency and inexperience that brings. In a few years he’ll be world class.

Needs to simplify his game to get more productivity from him until he fully adapts. Just task him with hitting the byline and getting it across into the right areas or coming inside and having a strike.

feel like he's constantly trying to process what he thinks pep wants him to do in any moment and that hesitation is holding him back.
