Nunes tried but lets be honest that first half set up did nowt to help him or Alvaez who were doubled up on easily, never mind whatever Pep had akanji doing

Berny or Kev should have played alongside him for him to flourish like the other week

However he cannot be let off criticism for bottling the 1 on 1 with pickford.

I don't remember that. Do you know aprox. when that was?

Did think he could have got there first half and pulled out when Pickford came.

Whether true or not he should have gone for it, if he got a booking so what.

The risk was worth the reward!
I reckon it's a confidence issue with him at the moment. Can't explain the Pickford situation any other way. He has the potential, but is still raw and new to the club. I think he will come good. This season, though, it's a mixed bag. MOTM here, poor performance there. I reckon we will see the best of him next season.

The lad was man of the match recently and then dropped the next game. He doesn’t become a bad player in such a short space of time
He does ok against really shit opposition.

Today, against a bang average Everton, at home, he should be taking the game by the scruff and bossing fuck out of it.

He’s got absolutely no presence or authority whatsoever.

He’s basically a goofy Javi Garcia.

We had people comparing him to Kdb a

Another known slagger...
Here he is JewelZee the Nunes number one flag shagger . Nunes was awful today and that unbalanced and effected the teams performance. Pep was fuming with his performance , he lacked the class needed enter KDB and City suddenly on another level . He fucking blew it mate just hold your hands up ! Pep is ruthless he will only persevere so much with a player then he is gone . Nunes will NOT get many more chances after today’s no show on the big stage !

Instant football experts - JUST ADD WATER galore in here today LOL.

FFS Everton are the 4th best defensive side in the league and he did exactly what Pep wanted but Everton gameplan didn't leave openings.

It was a bit like Pep was experimenting.. like playing Bernardo at left back.. but there's a use for Nunes in the team.. just not sure where he played today was his best position but Pep will figure it out.

He also needs to bulk up a bit. But he did allow us to rest KDB and didn't make mistakes. Huge credit where its due.
He made several mistakes.

I can remember him losing possession twice whilst trying to be a clever **** and attempting to take players on when there was simply no need.

On one of the occasions he threw 2 ridiculous step overs in for good measure.

Pep will have absolutely bollocked him no doubt.

Imposter syndrome - give him time to adjust

At least Pep changed it today

It’s a no win situation playing in Kev’s position.

As soon as he came on, the quality shone.

But honestly, how do you compete.

Best I can say is he saved Kev’s legs for 60 minutes.

The best thing he did today was to allow KdB to rest for 60 minutes before coming on to help win the game. I can see that his powerful running could be an asset in some games but not against how we knew Everton would play.
Powerful running is redundant when theres no end product to score or assist, which I'd say is proven by his stats over his career.

Very poor again. I know its first season , settling in etc, but this guy hasnt got 1% bottle, he pulls out of challenges which are 90/10 in his favour. Played with 10 men when he was on
No bottle, no work rate, no outstanding technical ability to write home about and seems to me he has an unjustified air of arrogance about him. Baffling signing, let alone for £50m.

He shat a brick when Pickford came out. He'll never be a prolific scorer so we can lower any such expectations. He's a benchwarmer whose greatest strength is being better than Kalvin Phillips.

Not seen that since with Pickford but looked favourite to me to get there. Did he just shit out of it?
