Maybe we should compare the assists of Rodri to Maddison as well whilst we are at it.Completely different how? Because one has end product and the other doesn't?
The positions Nunes has played so far for city would have suited Maddison down to the ground and I'm certain he'd have had much more of an impact. I'd say its quite telling that hes had zero minutes against United, Liverpool and Arsenal as to what pep thinks he can offer
There is a half decent player in there, definitely, but half decent players should be at Crystal Palace or Fulham. We need so much more.I think there's a half decent player in there, but every single good thing he does on the pitch is followed immediately by a bad thing and that kind of inconsistency is maddening.
Im talking about Nunes and Maddison mate, you keep saying Maddison isnt city level and havent mentioned Nunes which suggests to me you think Nunes IS city level?Maybe we should compare the assists of Rodri to Maddison as well whilst we are at it.
Maddison is good at specific things which is why spuds bought him and he seems to be doing well for them but a completely different game when you are talking about City level.
I don't think Nunes is at the level no, otherwise he would be starting each week. He's shown nothing of great note since he arrived. Doesn't mean he can't in the future.Im talking about Nunes and Maddison mate, you keep saying Maddison isnt city level and havent mentioned Nunes which suggests to me you think Nunes IS city level?
According to you as a ball carrier hes not expected to offer end product or anything else... its not enough to have only one attribute to cut it at city when hes competing for a place against players who have more to their game and are more dynamic. Theres a reason Nunes has played 90 mins twice in 29 league games
No disrespect to nunes but players of his calibre won’t win us a title or champions leagueI don't think Nunes is at the level no, otherwise he would be starting each week. He's shown nothing of great note since he arrived. Doesn't mean he can't in the future.
I am replying to your comments that means we should compare them.
Nunes has a set of skills, different to most at City and that's why Pep bought him or did we just decide to go for him because he looks a nice lad. We will find out in the next 12mths.
Complete rubbish. No disrespect to nunes but players of his calibre won’t win us a title or champions league
Because we didn't win on Sunday and they need someone to vent their frustrated spleens on...keep bringing the bad karma you fucking dolts...Why are people counting him out already?
He's already performed more than Phillips ever did. His ability to carry the ball also makes him far different from others.
Liverpool had little option other than to give these three an extended run in the team. That they are challenging for the title points to the fact they were a very good buy and they have all contributed positively. We don’t give players a chance here because of our rapidly seeming sense of entitlement .
I could just imagine us signing Szoboszlai, Endo and McAlister and having them written of in 12 months!
Sometimes you have to go back to move forwards.
But in reality he hasn't been "very poor"...simple as...It’s not like people are criticising him for no reason. In the appearances he’s made he’s been very poor and he cost 50m. He’s been in the league and played in Europe for a number of seasons. The idea that he’s a kid/youth prospect is flawed. He’s not shown that he’s got enough to his game and surely if he was in training he’d be getting chances.
Really? But in reality he hasn't been "very poor"...simple as...
