Crazy buy. Was never our first choice. Doesn't score, doesn't assist, bit reluctant to commit to a 50/50. Nothing he did at wolves screamed Pep player. Baffling.

He was never tasked with defending much at Wolves. And his defending skills are not enough to play next to Rodri. It will be difficult to get game time at 10 with some many ranking ahead of him. I would say a loan out may do him good. He can improve his defending sense and come back as a better option.

I'm edging towards him getting another season. It seems unlikely a Mendes player, quite high profile, expensive, moves just after one indifferent season. Pep did say he fancied him as RB, and he's played on the wing, definitely offers something different there.

Now that Gundo is back I can't see Nunes starting at all. He needs to look elsewhere
