That’s a short list of players who have been playing worse than him in recent games. Now, if you want to include Haaland for the chances he’s missed, I’d argue he’s scored a few, but with the exception of the Brighton game, he’s not been lighting up my life, either.
I’ve omitted both Doku and Savinho, because they’ve shown flashes of brilliance, albeit without end product, and have left out the walking wounded who haven’t played hardly any minutes recently.
No-one has been tearing up trees recently, but it feels slightly personal to even think of highlighting Nunes as wank recently, especially given the dire performances of some players.
I’ll leave it there. It’s late here and sleep beckons. I’m sure I’ll wake up to more “The End is Nigh and Pep is an arrogant twat for suggesting City might let someone else win the League this season!” for Sunday, so I have that to look forward to!

One of the few who should be going on international duty, played every game for us in this slump, played well in that time and is somebody that has been very much on the periphery of the national side with lots of strong competition yet he's chosen to put his club career first when many don't even want him to have one.

For the second goal, the left back let the sub get a step on him, beat him to the ball and slot it in past the onrushing keeper. Alas, he might have the complaint that the centre back let the ball run through for the runner, but then that’d mean they were both at fault for both goals, but that was clearly not the case, as it was the left winger’s fault!
