Tale of two halves for him. First half he was good particularly the first 30 mins but second half he was really poor. Ball going under his foot for a throw in and then hitting a corner straight out being 2 examples. If he wants to stay in the side then he needs to be more consistent than that. At least showing some signs this season though.

Both examples of tiredness. The fact that we are so short on bodies means that he’s going to have to play more, though- even when others are nursed back, so we should expect improvement.

I might be wrong, but I think he has played more consecutive minutes of football in the last two games for us than he has since September 2023. The rest have been sporadic appearances.

Feel like he's thinking too hard about what to do because he's desperate to make an impression. As he settles in and feels really at home I think you'll see the positives of his game stay but the negatives subside.

Always been a fan of Nunes, excited to see him get a proper go, definitely has something to offer the team in his running and crossing (has a decent shot too).

He appeared to take a knock on his shin towards the end of the first half. He was limping and pulled down his sock. Ruben came over to look at it. I was surprised to see him come out for the second half.

Hardly surprising he tired second half when he's barely featured for a year. Before his legs went, he was very good, shown more in the 2 games this week than grealish or doku has all season. Starting spot is his to lose imo.

Excellent to see some actual end product from the left, had forgotten what that looked like. Haaland looks far more interested when the ball goes out there because he might actually get some supply instead of grealish going backwards and killing any attack or doku tangling himself up. Well played Nunes.

Nunes has contributed 6 goals/assists so far, more than any City player not named Haaland. Grealish needs about 15-20 starts to reach these numbers...And Grealish is a really good player.
