There’s not much I’m unhappy about to be honest. Like watching Ederson play but don’t think he’s a great actual keeper. Thought Sterling was playing poorly for ages before a goal drought made more people focus on it. I like watching Grealish play but think he needs to do miles more to hurt teams.

Apart from that it’s all good Phil and I get behind the team at the actual games

It's a stat. that proves nothing. The nature of the goals are the only things that are relevant in judging the keeper. A tap in, a 35yard screamer, a deflection, in off a post, through a crowded area, one on one etc can all be shots on target, whether the shots on target are saveable is unique to each particular incident and rarely comparable for statistical value.

He’s been in a passenger in the dominant team of the Premier League over the past 5 years; it’s in the Champions League where he’s been regularly tested and found out - if we had another keeper who’s more reliable in making saves, we might have added a couple of European Cups to the ‘titles and trophies’ we’ve won in that time. He’s not a new scapegoat, it’s just his default level is only now being scrutinised because there are two other very good teams in the league, making every point crucial, plus we aren’t scoring a shitload of goals to paper over the goalkeeping cracks that have always been there anymore.

Overall I think his levels have dropped from where they were a couple of years ago but he's still a class goalie that I trust when I see his name on the teamsheet.

Yep should have saved that and there was no need for the rugby tackle penalty either. Can’t fault his distribution though.

Oh dear. Alongside Walker he is probably the most valuable player in the team. We play the way we do because of his ability with the ball at his feet. I loved Joe but he wouldn’t last more than a couple of games playing in this team.
