No one is being rested on Tuesday. We lose and we finish second in the group. Pep will go full strength. Keepers don’t need resting and none of us know how good Ortega is as he hasn’t played for us and 99% of us hadn’t heard of him before he signed for us.

MOTD showed his pass for the 1st goal from behind Sanchez goal, it's ridiculous how good that pass was.

That was a great view. Just looked like a nice long hoof upfield that Haaland latched onto. That view showed it for what it was, an absolutely sublime 60+ yard pass, which Haaland latched onto.

No, completely disagree

He would be competent in comparison to what Ederson offers us, but you wouldn't see any of those 30 yard curled passes out to Cancelo which start off a lot of our attacks

Yes he's a better all round keeper, but wouldn't be as effective as Ederson
 
I like his attitude he brings on the field but should’ve save the trossard one, think it would be interesting to see Ortega a run of 3-4 games but will not happen as pep rates his passing more then his saves he should’ve made.

Remember when the Brighton player was down after 20 minutes Pep got Ederson and Haaland Bernardo over and changed the tactics to beat the press and man to man with balls over the top. Doubt any keepers can play the short and the long games like Ederson. Thats why he is our number 1. Hiss keeping and sweeping is good enough too, nothing like abad as some like to make out for some odd reason.

His assist against Huddersfield and Shalke were unbelievable.

I agree. Pep will not want to lose he will go full strength as he usually does.
 
Yes, should have saved the Brighton goal but made a very very good save from the same player not long after.

But when will people realise it’s not just his passing that’s key. His passing is sure a great asset, but he is essential to our whole set up offensively and defensively. His incredibly bravery and vision in passing is essential in our attacking.
But just as key is his contribution to our defending. We are the only team in the World that a defender has 360 degree options with the ball at anytime. Ederson’s willingness to be available to receive the ball without hesitation makes the job of a defender so much easier. He’s key to everything we do.
 
Edersons kicking was poor against brighton for what ever reason aside from the goal but it highlighted so well what he brings to the team. Kicking of his "poor" quality at weekend is standard for most good keepers and yet our inability to calmly passout from the back caused us issues both offensively and defensively against brighton. Change ederson out for any other keeper and we immediatly become an easier team to beat regardless of any criticism about his ability to save at times.
