There is absolutely no chance Ortega was offered the #1 role if he signed a new contract which then means he can not have been offered more minutes because the only options for the #2 are the cup games.

No way Pep is going to chop and change a keeper week to week in the PL.

So there is nothing for him to be betrayed about but as I don't know what he was told when signing his contract I could have surmised my entire post on a lie as well.

Some posters here, were actually asking the question in July-August - if Ederson was better than Ortega..

Have some respect for the players who have delivered results for many years and were the reason club has won so many titles.

Ortega had few good matches and Ederson had number of very good seasons.

How can someone dare and compare him to Ortega, such a blasphemy.

He has been one of the best GK's (if not the best) since 2017.
