The CL final was his best ever performance but was an outlier in terms of shot-stopping. He's poor at it for the majority of the time sadly. We need a new keeper as I'm nor sure Ortega is quite good enough either.
We already have Ortega who is a better shot-stopper

And right on cue all the absolute fucktards that haven't said a word all season as Ederson has made crucial save after save, game after game are back claiming he doesn't make saves with their sieve memories.

First goal is a freakish fuck up from our defenders, nothing the keeper can do about it when a defender is mishitting it and inadvertently playing the perfect lofted through ball to their forward, he made the striker work for it at least. It was a very good finish from their player in fairness.

Second goal he's unsighted and its a fluke but if you get beat at your near post as a keeper, you're always culpable regardless, so thats firmly on him.

Third goal isn't even his fault. i was directly behind it, i saw it all play out. The error was in the defence allowing 2 players to make the most basic of run over the top completely unmarked like a Sunday league defence still pissed from the night before.

He's on the edge of his box as he should be when the ball is played over, he knows he can't get there when the ball is played so he momentarily stops to retreat then he realises he cannot do that either as it's too late, he would leave himself open for an easy lob or a square ball and a tap in so he has to commit. The ball was spot on, if you play a high line and you don't track runners either, if the ball is perfect there's fuck all anybody can do.

You’re watching a different player to me then.
Was this the first time you watched him then? As he's repeatedly saved us all season long.
How many times, in all his 8 seasons with us, has he won us points himself? Isn't that what great goalkeepers are supposed to do? The whole defense is bad, I'm not saying for a moment that it's all his fault. But God, I don't remember when he actually won games for us.
How about west ham away, Newcastle away, Brentford at home, fulham at home, wolves away, they're all just this season. Might want to get that memory of your checked pal.

Eddie's style has won us points over the seasons but he is partly to blame for that collapse.

Yeah it was shite from him at the end, but that's the first poor game from him all season desptite the comical defending in front of him, I'll start bashing him when has more games like this.
I think he's been poor in many games and has made several mistakes. He never saves anything !

Go on i'll bite, Which games? specifically? Or is that just a throwaway statement with absolutely no substance to back it up? I bet you I can name more times he's saved us this season than you can name poor games he's had.

He's been rubbish this entire season and has killed the narrative that the reason his save percentage is so low is because we face few chances.

Now we're facing a bucket load of chances and he's saving fuck all

quite a nonsense almost any team we face can create 3 on target shots almost guaranteeing them two goals.
if they create 5-6 on target shots then 3-4 of them are goals.

the ratio of goals out of on target shots City conceded must be off the scale if it were put on a chart.

but this is an ongoing issue not just a recent thing.

Im just going to dispel all this complete horseshit about him not making saves or being awful all season with a list just off the top of my head and therefore far from complete of times hes made fanastic saves this season. (Also it's Funny how hes supposedly not made any saves and been crap yet nobody has been in here mentioning it until now isnt it? It couldn't be because it's lies could it?)

West ham away. Flying save to his left to prevent a certain goal as Summerville looks to curl the ball into the far corner late in the game. We won that game 2-1. Stops us dropping 2 points late on.

Newcastle away, produces a brilliant save from joelinton who spun and hammered it from about 10 yards out, had no right to get anything on it, we draw that game 1-1. Earns us the point.

Wolves away, a series of brilliant saves to keep us in it, if you want one in particular, semedo was put clean through at 1-0, ederson majes a big save 1v1. We go 2 down, we don't see a comeback.

Brentford at home, ederson makes numerous top saves as Brentford threaten to go 2-0 up in the first half, including a great reaction save from a corner, he then provides an assist for haaland which proves to be the winner. Again, we go 2 down early, and he doesn't get the assist we don't win.

Fulham at home, saves twice 1v1 from adama traore who skinned Lewis then walker and should have had 2 easy goals, aswell as preventing him point blank and forcing him to put it over. We lose heavily but for Ederson. Instead we win.

These are just the games where we actually picked up points and I've not even mentioned a single time where he's swept up to prevent nunerous other 1v1 chances which should be goals. He made multiple saves in defeats too, especially bournemouth and brighton that kept the score down.

Lets see if anybody can come up with even half as many instances of him costing us this season as times hes earned us points that I've just provided. I guarantee some berk will still say the same thing about him not making saves even after reading this.

What an inviting opportunity for berks and horseshitters to identify themselves….

Since last season, it’s been clear Josko and Ederson have zero understanding of each other’s game. Once the other defenders are back, bench Josko, put Ake back in his best position, and the team’s rhythm will definitely return to top form.
