watched a highlight reel of his game vs girona, boy looks a player.
He is going to be fantastic this lad. Way ahead of others upstairs on the pitch, not matured as yet, so the physical aspect will improve and a loan was the right outcome for him. He'll be back next season to compete. Lavia was a mistake but he will be a level above that.

Las Palmas played a friendly today against a local club on artificial turf - lost 1-0. Max started and played at least until the 67th minute when this report sez he hit the post.

Sevilla 1-0 Las Palmas - Max came on at 73m, played well, Las Palmas had 2 golden chances to equalize at the death, no joy tho, I'll keep an eye out for an iso vid of his touches, still don't know whether Max was among the Las Palmas players who went for coffee at the airport instead of boarding their flight and were left on the tarmac

When Max came on he completely dominated the midfield for Las Palmas. Very impressed.

Max played the first hour of the LP match - got yanked when LP rec'd a red card at 0-0. Both teams were constantly throwing themselves at the grass looking for calls, hard to really judge but it looked like normal Max actions in the brief moments of sustained play. meh
