You are 100% correct. In both games he was given time, the games changed and not for the better. He demonstrated why he cannot start for us. He has had more than enough time to understand our game and I think he will be moved on. Lets hope he grabs the opportunity to get some playing time rather than sit grinning on the bench thinking about his inflated salary whilst Rodri runs himself into the ground. One of our few bad buys.Totally agree, that's a good summary, especially the lack of trust.
He's played 105 minutes of PL football for us with 3 games to go, an average of 3 minutes a game.
Of those 105 minutes, he got 35 at Bournemouth when we were 4-0 up, and 37 minutes at home to Leicester when we were 3-0 up, we conceded in both games after he came on.
So basically not trusted unless we already have the game won against a team near the bottom.
