Glad he got some minutes. Still think he’s a bit lackadaisical in the way he gets about - even into tackles - and admires his passes too much but at least he got time on the pitch.

He's not a lone cdm, so to expect him to come in and be as good as Rodri, you're going to be disappointed. Many clearly going in with confirmation bias anyway. Lad can't win.

Honestly don't know if he's not good enough or it's a lack of minutes. I suppose the only way to find out is more minutes - he won't get better by not playing.

Looks like his confidence is shot to pieces, very rusty and way off the pace. He doesn't look anywhere near our level at the moment and I don't think this will be resolvable this season. I'm hoping an injury free pre season will sort him out and get him playing at a higher intensity than wete currently seeing.

I thought he looked fine for a guy that’s barely played all season. A little bit reactive, a little bit off with his touch, but it’s what you expect.

He’s easily good enough to come and take 10-15 minutes out of Rodri’s legs most games.

When he gets his (limited) chances needs to get involved more for me - this evening he didn't look like he wanted the ball enough.
I don't really understand why we went in for him, nothing against the lad.

With his injuries, his season is really only just beginning. Remember how poor Rodri looked in his first season trying to work out what to do and how much he was a step down from Fernandinho he looked.

As long as he puts the effort in in training, he'll get chances and I'll judge him next season.

I must admit I had completely forgotten him, and probably forgot him while he was actually on the books. Did he ever play? - I think I saw him warm up once.

He got 10 minutes against Bolton at home in 2009. It was the final game of the season.

When you come on the pitch you have to fight like crazy to prove you deserve to be there. I just didn’t see that from Kalvin in his cameo today. I sincerely hope he can turn it around.

Was another lacklustre cameo but I suppose with all those subs it doesn’t help. He mustn’t be ripping up trees in training as been 3 months back now. Give him a start Tuesday and see what he can do over a full game. Hopefully better then the last one he started!

its hard for him especially when your competing against rodders he’s not got the same aura about him probably never will nor does he have the finesse in his movement or ball playing he can improve but he’s never going to be at his level
