Either way he needs to be moved on, i suspect he wont go if he loses the level of money he's on

I simply don't understand our club offering 150k a week for 6 years for a bang average player for him to complete a move to the best team/club in Europe. When we bought him, I'm sure that Ngolo Kante was also up for grabs - he'd have been a shoe-in replacement for Fernandinho.
Can never understand long-term contracts being given to new players - the game's littered with top performers who for whatever reason just don't fit into a different team.

Id imagine he'll officially be a city player until his contract runs out. Can't really blame him, we offered him it
That’s what worries me. Right now he’s not even Leeds level. He’s what, mid table championship level? And I’m not even taking the piss when i say that.
Surely we can’t have him at city next season just stinking the training ground out, that would be insanity.
thats what I suspect is going to happen
Wonder if we can cancel his contract and pay him up

It’ll hurt but if our only hope is to try and send him out on loan and pay his wages anyway, we might as well.
Nobody is going to be daft enough to buy him.
20 million what, though?I think I read somewhere that City would accept 20 million for him. Can't see anybody willing to pay that for him.
We'll be lucky to get twenty quid for the useless lump of Yorkshire lard.I think I read somewhere that City would accept 20 million for him. Can't see anybody willing to pay that for him.

Never good enough. A stock car in a formula 1 team. One wonders what EXACTLY went wrong there.
Homesick?
Too stupid to learn?
Complete loss of confidence?
Or, did the game just pass him by?
Its not that though it’s something else. He was a good player at Leeds and did okay for England. He should have been okay at either West Ham or Ipswich but he wasn’t so it isn’t ability its something else seems to have lost all his confidence and is a shell of his former self.Never good enough. Turkiye (or Turkey if you're old school) would suit him I reckon.Wonder how he fancy moving abroad.
That must be his best chance now.
Merse, is that you?20 million lira, maybe.
