Now that he is getting all the spotlight teams are going to plan a special treatment for him, especially next year when he will have played most of the teams and they can figure out what works against him, but he has enough weapons in his game to adapt.
They'll hopefully need to plan a special treatment for Messi and Haaland too!

They do actually have quite a similar style of play in my opinion. The main difference is that Wilshere relied more on playing one two's with teammates whereas Foden can dribble past opponents on his own with more ease.
Yeah Wilshire was very good at this.pass and move, and take the oppenent completely out of the game, absolutely nothing you can do to stop it.Gascoigne used to be a master of it,albeit a longer pass and move game.. and the return pass would often have him bursting thru centre midfield into a really dangerous attacking position...
Wilshers game was shorter and neater, edging his way thru midfield but rarely creating a goal scoring chance..

Good points. Foden's strengths definitely make him more of a threat in the final third. Wilshere was very good in that deeper position, it's a shame when injuries completely ruin a player's career.

Not the best game, but that happens, you need everybody chipping in to allow some of them a slightly "off" performance.

Does he lose the ball too much to be Gundo’s replacement in the middle? Will be interesting to see if Pep moves him inside or if he doesn’t feel he’s ready yet.

Getting to the top is hard, staying there is harder. Can't wait to see what Foden 2.0 will look like.
Might be partly why Guardiola's getting him playing different positions. The boy's talented enough to adapt to multiple positions and continually be effective. A player like that is extremely hard to plan for.
