Didn't think he was that "good" today , but when he's not at his best he like the rest of the team works their bollox off ,and that is all us fans can ask forAnother really good game with typical hard work off the ball. Starting to link up very nicely with Gundo.
Agreed.Good points. Foden's strengths definitely make him more of a threat in the final third. Wilshere was very good in that deeper position, it's a shame when injuries completely ruin a player's career.
He’s not ready yet so he plays him wide. He was not quite right first half against the dippers but superb out wide. I think he will do what Gundogen is doing now in a couple of years as he has the ability but just needs the experience. Pep knows best funnily enough.Does he lose the ball too much to be Gundo’s replacement in the middle? Will be interesting to see if Pep moves him inside or if he doesn’t feel he’s ready yet.
I think that will be the case too. We are a little short of options with De Bruyne, Fernandinho and Gundogan out injured and Foden not really deemed ready yet for the centre. So maybe Cancelo plays there and Walker comes in to form a back 3 in possession with Zinchenko playing the Cancelo role but from the left.He’s not ready yet so he plays him wide.
