Poor with the ball but a great attitude. He knew he wasn’t at his best with the football, and you could see how much that was annoying him.

Worked hard, but critically, he scored another goal. That can be easy to overlook, even a slightly misfiring Foden is bringing something to this team now. IMO he is a crucial part of what we do.

Im interested to see what happens now we essentially have a full squad again, because for me he has earned a regular place in the first 11

Not at his best in the last couple of games but the bar he has set himself is so high now that he will always be a huge influence regardless.
Clearly he wasnt happy with his own performance last night as the disappointment on his face at the end of the game along with some frustration he showed during, was testimony.

He wants to be the very best, and he will always be his own worst critic, but going forward he will have to be careful not to be too hard on himself.

I love his attitude and i love his presence,he is very much a player we have now come to depend on and i cant wait to watch him develop into England's standout midfielder.

The last sentence I doubt, and it’ll have nothing to with Phil. Watch him go domestically under Pep in the couple years, and then look at the contrast we will see for England. The national team has been wasting its talent for decades.

Well,we can clearly do better than Southgate in terms of a man that will bring more out of Foden, but irrespective i think he's so good that it will be impossible for him not to shine.

You could see at the end of the game how frustrated he was with himself yesterday. He gave the ball away which lead to their goal something that pep will no doubt be frustrated about given his past comments. As a winger though he is top class and with kdb and gundogan back hopefully he will be back to his best playing out wide.

Also all this talk about learning from kdb or Dave for me the best player he could learn from is Bernardo, they have a very similar skill set and Bernardo playing centrally is a joy to watch right now he is so good in possession

He’s isn’t ready to play in the centre in this team yet. That’s not a dig, he’s only 20. He should be a winger for the next 12-18 months then he’ll have developed to a level where is is able to control games better and not dribble when he should pass etc. It’s good for him that KDB and Gundo are back now, so he can focus on what he’s been good at - playing from the wing and knowing that when he loses the ball it’s far less likely to be in an area where a counter is unstoppable.

Some pundits and fans of other clubs claiming he is over hyped. Compare and contrast with Januzaj. He played 50 games for United. Got 5 Goals. That's it. Foden, 101 games 26 goals.
Remember the Jizz fest over the United lad. Even calls for him to be drafted into the England team.

A little bit untidy last night, think he might be feeling fatigue after so much involvement lately. Wouldn’t surprise me if he gets benched for Arsenal and maybe back for Gladbach.
