probs gonna get shouted down for this, but seems a bit of a coincidence that he hasnt been at his best since Grealish showed up. Thats all i'm saying.

Plenty of players have been at their best since Grealish showed up. If Jack's not getting the credit for their success then I don't see why he should get the blame for whatever blip Phil might have.

Foden's ridiculously talented but still relatively young and inexperienced. He's going to have dips in form, he's going to have times where he doesn't consistently hit the heights we know he's capable of...learning to deal with that stuff and overcome it is what's going to build him up to the best he can be.

I don't think being friends with a teammate is going to divert him from his path to greatness unless it's a diversion he would have taken anyway.

He has been led into breaking the rules and going clubbing and turning up the next day at training not in a fit state already , pep said their behaviour was not right

I agree that behaviour wasn't right. I don't think it was the end of the world, but I was disappointed and glad Pep dealt with it. It was stupid both from a covid point of view and from the point of view of not being fit to train to expected standards.

I just don't think it's necessarily right to say one player led the other into anything. We don't know the dynamic between them but they're both adult men with history of enjoying the odd night out.

In the absence of any evidence to the contrary I'm going to assume Phil makes his own decisions about how to behave and on that occasion, as on others, he messed up and has hopefully learnt his lesson.

It\s really easy to blame Grealish for this apparent Foden issue, but if he's that easily lead, then maybe it's on him? He was an idiot with Greenwood around too. We can't just keep him away from other young blokes incase he doesn't get distracted. At some point it will have to be on him. I'm sure he's fine and I can happily put his middling form down to injuries and a lack of consistent football right now. He had some excellent games at the start of the season, it just feels like a lifetime ago now though given the state of the world!

We can’t just keep blaming Grealish for Phil’s behaviour. I’m sorry. He’s a father of 2. He should be taking responsibility for his own actions. Also don’t remember Grealish telling him to break Covid laws in Iceland.

I'm sorry Karen but your obvious dislike of Grealish is coming through loud and clear and tainting your thoughts here.

If Foden is going to reach his full potential he will take notice of Pep and the coaches and learn to put football first above other distractions , and his friendship with Grealish will not hinder his progress.

They both turned up not in a fit state to train, phil has not done that before , they are close friends and it is grealish that has the rep for getting drunk and doing silly thinks

I cant bear grealish , he is a twat and should know better at his age, i am up front as to why i dont like him
