Don't remember him getting the ball under control once last night. Crap pitch and conditions but he seemed off it. Hope he is back on it for Everton. In Phil we trust!
Although I agree, it seems to be an extended blip. The really good performances have been the exception this season. I think this really is the fork in the road -Just a blip in form i think. Foden on his day is a world class player. It's as simple as that. He'll come good sooner or later, no worries.
The answer is on his neck mate. Depends how much he wants it.Although I agree, it seems to be an extended blip. The really good performances have been the exception this season. I think this really is the fork in the road -
does he stay at current level, which is bloody good but on par with someone like Sane, or
Does he kick on and elevate himself into a truly world class player?
We'll see
Totally agree with you.Just a blip in form i think. Foden on his day is a world class player. It's as simple as that. He'll come good sooner or later, no worries.
Foden's biggest challenge right now is nailing down a settled position as an automatic starter.Totally agree with you.
The lad is just back from the World Cup and still learning his trade playing a system Pep wants.
Imho he should have been the focal point of the England side playing off Kanes shoulder.
15-30 minutes playing time since the world cup and seen virtually nothing of the ball, so I really am surprised that anyone can make judgements about Foden.Just a blip in form i think. Foden on his day is a world class player. It's as simple as that. He'll come good sooner or later, no worries.
He was in and out of form before the world cup though.15-30 minutes playing time since the world cup and seen virtually nothing of the ball, so I really am surprised that anyone can make judgements about Foden.
It's about as valid as saying that Alvarez is a lazy twat who's done nothing for us since winning the World Cup, and he can go out on loan in January as he's just not pulling his weight.
